Supercell-400Gα

Increase spindle utilization and reduce setup time with the Supercell-400Gα 5-axis Horizontal Automation Cell. This fully integrated production center combines precision 5-axis machining with flexible automation for unmanned machining and lights-out production of multiple jobs, fixtures, and part quantities. A standard 12-pallet automatic pallet changer, expandable to 21 pallets, provides the flexibility needed to keep production running with minimal operator intervention.

Full simultaneous 5-axis capabilities allow complex parts to be machined in fewer setups, while the 320 mm pallet accommodates workpieces up to 400 mm (15.7”) in diameter, 350 mm (13.8”) high, and 80 kg (176 lbs.). A standard 122-tool automatic tool changer, expandable to 188 or 284 tools, supports multiple part families while minimizing tool changes and setup requirements.

The integral spindle provides 200–20,000 RPM, up to 30 HP (22 kW), and 118 N·m of torque for machining a wide range of materials from aluminum to hardened steels. Linear and rotary scale feedback supports positioning accuracy of ±0.001 mm (±0.000039”)/full stroke and repeatability of ±0.0005 mm (±0.000020”). With 560 × 510 × 460 mm (22.0” × 20.1” × 18.1”) X/Y/Z travels and a compact footprint, the Supercell-400Gα delivers flexible, unmanned production without compromising precision or floor space.
